This Privacy Policy explains how Addify AB (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use EuroPlanner (“the Service”). Addify AB is the data controller for the personal data processed through the Service.
1. What data we collect
We collect and process the following categories of personal data:
- Account data: name, email address and authentication credentials managed by our identity provider.
- Travel data: countries, arrival and departure dates, trip notes and any documents or passport details you choose to store.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited and feature usage, collected via hosting logs and analytics tools.
- Communication data: messages you send to our support team.
2. How we use your data
We use your personal data for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:
- To provide the Service — creating and maintaining your account, calculating day counts, sending threshold alerts and storing your trips. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To improve and secure the Service — analytics, error reporting, fraud prevention and abuse detection. Legal basis: legitimate interests, balanced against your rights.
- To communicate with you — support responses, service updates and, with your consent, marketing messages. Legal basis: contract performance or consent for marketing.
- To comply with legal obligations — such as tax, accounting or law-enforcement requests. Legal basis: legal obligation.
3. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with recipients who need it for the purposes above:
- Service providers: hosting, authentication, analytics and customer-support tooling, bound by data-processing agreements.
- Paddle: our online reseller and Merchant of Record, which processes payment, billing, tax, invoicing and subscription-management data. Paddle acts as a separate controller for its own payment processing. See Paddle’s Privacy Policy.
- Professional advisers: legal, accounting or auditing professionals where necessary.
- Authorities: when required by law or to protect our rights.
4. International transfers
Some of our service providers process data outside the European Economic Area. When this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, in line with GDPR.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep it longer for legal, tax or security reasons.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR and applicable data-protection law, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request erasure of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”);
- request restriction of processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing;
- request data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or your local supervisory authority.
We aim to respond to requests within one month. To exercise your rights, contact us at support@europlanner.eu.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, regular backups and pseudonymisation where practical. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies required for the Service to function and analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can manage analytics cookies through your browser settings.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
